Google Search Console – New Reports for Special Announcements Markup

Following a new way for sites to highlight COVID-19 announcements on Google Search, Google Search Console (GSC) now offers a new report for sites that have implemented SpecialAnnouncement structured data. The report includes warning, errors and a way to validate fixes. If the errors are fixed this validation process will automatically trigger a Google recrawl of your affected pages.

The GSC Performance report now also allows you to check the impressions, clicks and CTR results of your special announcement pages

If you implemented the SpecialAnnouncement structured data, you can test this using the Rich Results Test tool.
